Gas plasma cutting of metal
The essence of the process is that the gas plasma machine generates an arc that melts the cut metal due to high temperature and blows out the liquid melt with plasma pressure
The method is common and profitable because of:
- budget – the cost of metal cutting is relatively low;
- speed of execution;
- accuracy.
Gas plasma machines have high accuracy and provide very high-quality metal cutting.
Accuracy is ensured by a rigid design that allows the burner to be moved with minimal deviation from the specified trajectory.
In terms of accuracy, such machines are second only to laser installations, but they are much cheaper.
